Eligibility Criteria for Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships 2024

Secondly, you must have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 and above or a TOEFL score of 90 for CBT and a writing score of 21. Also, an overall PTE Academic score of 58. This is for international students who wish to pursue their postgraduate studies in New Zealand.

For undergraduates, you must have an overall IELTS score of 6.0, a TOEFL score of 80 (on an internet-based test), and a writing score of 21. Also, an overall PTE Academic score of 50 and a C1 Advanced score of 169. It is important to note that the scores are the least of what you must have.

You do not need to write IELTS if you do not already have one. If you are awarded the scholarship, you will then be asked to write IELTS. Therefore, you won’t waste money writing IELTS when you are not sure if you will get the scholarship, so you get the scholarship first before writing IELTS.

Thirdly, when applying for the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships, state clearly in the application form what contributions you will give to the social and economic development of the country. Applicants with the most convincing reasons stand a higher chance of being selected.

Also, postgraduate students who must have been working before applying for the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships, and whose choice of study aligns with their work experience must have more than one year of work experience.
